Studio MM is a 7-person Hudson Valley firm specializing in client-focused, contemporary residential design. We are seeking an energetic, local Architectural Intern to join our Olivebridge, NY studio for a full-time role (3–5 days per week in-studio).


The Role: You will collaborate with Project Architects on high-end custom homes, assisting with design research, physical models, 3D renderings, and full construction drawing sets. Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, producing weekly client updates, and supporting office operations.


Requirements:

Enrolled in or graduated from an accredited B.Arch or B.S. Arch program.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Proactive self-starter with a "no job is too small" mentality and a passion for residential architecture.

Job Title: Project Architect (4–7 Years Experience)

Position Details: Our firm is seeking a Project Architect with 4–7 years of professional experience who is highly proficient in construction documentation and familiar with public bid, educational, and institutional projects. This role is suited for a motivated architectural professional who can work independently on assigned tasks, contribute across all project phases, and support construction administration with limited oversight.

The position will support multiple active K–12 educational projects currently in design and construction. Candidates should be comfortable integrating into ongoing projects and coordinating closely with senior staff, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and coordinate construction documents for public bid projects
• Assist with bid documentation, addenda, and consultant coordination
• Review and respond to submittals, RFIs, and change orders
• Coordinate with consultants to resolve drawing and specification issues
• Participate in construction administration, including site visits and field reports
• Maintain organized project documentation and correspondence

Required Qualifications
• 4–7 years of professional architectural experience
• Strong proficiency in construction documentation
• Experience with public bid, educational, or institutional projects
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Preferred (Plus) Experience
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms
• Exposure to architectural specifications and consultant coordination
• Construction administration experience
