The Land Use Law Center is pleased to announce the 20th annual Alfred B. DelBello Land Use and Sustainable Development Conference. Scheduled for December 6-9, 2021, this year’s conference theme is Rx for Land Use Reform: Meeting the Challenge in a Time of Crisis.
The viral pandemic has challenged the land use system to create safe sites and buildings to protect the public health and stabilize neighborhoods. This pandemic is exacerbated by three other dynamic forces that equally threaten public health: climate change, housing insecurity, and racial discrimination. The conference will explore how to meet the growing challenge of these four “pandemics” through land use policy and regulation innovation.
